There are only 2 differences between the HRAC and RAC style plate carriers. The first is that the HRAC comes in a medium plate carrier size which may fit some people better. The second is that the RAC's zip-on back panel ecosystem is replaced with a modular MOLLE rear to attach various placards in the HRAC model.
