During this outdoor class, you will learn the basic information provided on a topographic map, the proper use of a compass, and how to put the two together. After covering the basics, you'll get time to practice taking a bearing from the terrain, so that you can make sense of your position and plan a route. This 90 minute course is a great introduction to outdoor navigation. Remember this class is outdoors so dress accordingly.
