This bulletproof vest is called PGD-BETA and is Protection Group Denmark's most affordable vest. It is used by police, guards and other security professionals.
The PGD-BETA offers high value in terms of weight, comfort and flexibility. It offers NIJ 2 (II) protection against some of the most advanced handgun threats such as .357 magnum and 9 mm. Designed in Denmark and Europe
Protection Group Denmark have spent several years developing this bulletproof vest, to show that high-quality body armor is something that everyone can afford. BETA is produced at their ISO9001: 2015-certified factory in Denmark.
The BETA is a Hybrid bulletproof vest, which means that the vest consists of polyethylene and aramid. This gives one of the absolute lightest, bulletproof vests in NIJ level 2, with a weight of just 1.2 kilo (2.65 lbs.) for a size Large.
The vest is designed to stop a .357 Magnum and 9 mm.

The bulletproof vest has a lot of important details, so you feel comfortable in, and give you very high security:

- The BETA is manufactured with a hybrid composite design with aramid from ProSystems in Italy and Polyethylene from Barrday in the USA. Protection Group Denmark love hybrid compositions because it makes the bulletproof vest stronger, lighter and more resistant than monolithic structures.
- The soft armor insert is sealed with Protection Group Denmark Ultrasonic sealing technology. This provides a 100% waterproof TPU-cover that is resistant to all kinds of liquids.
Outlast® PCM-Technology
In Protection Group Denmark BETA bulletproof vest, they use Outlast® PCM technology. It is a NASA-technology that keeps your body neither too hot nor too cold but keeps the body temperature just right.
Outlast® PCM helps you to wear the vest for long periods of 12-14 hours at a time.
Because Outlast® is a technology - not a material - it can both hold and release heat. Ordinary traditional mesh / sweat-absorbing materials only help you get rid of the heat, but do not keep you warm if you freeze.
A bulletproof vest with Outlast® is like having a duvet that you do not kick off at night because you sweat, or lack in the morning because you are freezing.
If you are on guard or patrolling, it makes a huge difference to your ability to perform, when the equipment adapts to your needs. Outlast® technology helps with that.

If you are ‘between sizes’, then the smaller size will be easier to conceal but will leave a 1’’ (2,5 cm) in each side without protection. The larger size will overlap and can be more difficult to conceal.
