Whether it is for gardening, field work, a walk in the forest or a hike on snowy roads, these waterproof boots are flexible, slip-free and extremely stable. They are made with a “direct vulcanization” technology which allows for completely sealed boots, ensuring warm and dry feet through rainy days.
These natural rubber boots are manufactured in Ortaru, Hokkaido since 1935.
Before the war, there were 50 rubber footware manufacturers in Hokkaido. This is now the only factory in Japan that can manufacture rubber boots with the vulcanized manufacturing method.
Each pair is hand crafted at every stage.
